Computer Science sophomore at Rutgers with a focus on backend and distributed systems. The deeper I get into these systems, the more I want to understand what's happening underneath — how data stays consistent, how things fail gracefully, and how you design for load you can't fully predict.
My internship experience was mostly building and shipping backend features end to end. That's where I started caring about the harder questions: what breaks at scale, and why. I got comfortable with the gap between "it works" and "it works reliably."
Right now I'm drawn to problems around fault tolerance, consistency, and system design — not just implementing features, but understanding the tradeoffs behind the decisions that make a system actually hold up in production.

As a Software Engineering Intern, I contributed to strengthening the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems within a distributed architecture. I worked on improving how services handled high traffic, failures, and real-world production load while increasing system observability. My role focused on building resilient infrastructure that could scale efficiently and operate reliably under pressure.

As an AI/ML Engineering Extern, I built an end-to-end document intelligence system for large, unstructured mortgage PDFs. I focused on layout-aware OCR extraction and Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines that enable semantic search and Q&A over complex documents, then wrapped the final system in an interactive chatbot for real-world mortgage automation use cases.
